Overs and Deliveries

Each group-stage match consists of five overs, with each over comprising four legal deliveries.

The tournament committee reserves the right to modify the number of balls per over in the later stages of the tournament.

Team Size

• Every team must have a squad of 12 players (9 male, 3 female).
• The playing team will consist of 8 players.
• 11 players can be chosen for one match, with only 8 active on the field at a time. The 8 players for each innings must be selected from the named 11.
• At all times, the fielding side must consist of 2 female players and 6 male players.

Player Substitution

The players chosen to bat and those chosen to bowl may be different, but all must come from the named 11. Once an innings begins, no changes to the selected 8 players are allowed, except for injury substitutions as described below.

Substitutions are only allowed in the event of injury and must be like-for-like (female for female, male for male), with the umpire's approval.

Subsequent Overs

After the first over, male players will bat. The fielding side must consist of 6 male players and 2 female players. The exception allowing remaining female players to bat after all male players are dismissed is explained under Special Situations.

Female Players Only

The first over will be bowled exclusively by female players, and only female players may bat during this over.

Wicket Limit

• A maximum of two wickets is allowed.
• If both wickets are lost, the innings will proceed directly to the next over, with any remaining deliveries declared dead.

Runner Rule

• If one female batter is dismissed, the other female batter will continue the remainder of the over, while the dismissed player will stand at the non-striker's end as a runner.
• In that case, a runout at either end will be counted as a dismissal.

Wide/No-Ball Penalty

Each wide/no-ball delivery will award three runs to the batting side without an extra delivery.

Fielding Restrictions

At least 2 players must be positioned on the boundary line during the first over.

Bowling Limit

Each male player is permitted to bowl a maximum of one over per match.

Illegal Actions

• Chucking is prohibited for male players, and underarm bowling is prohibited for female players.
• Any delivery deemed illegal by the umpire will be called a no-ball.

No-Ball Rules

• Over-height no-balls judged at chest height. Only one bouncer per over is permitted; any subsequent bouncers will be called no-balls.
• Front-foot no-ball called if the bowler's leading foot lands completely beyond the popping crease.
• No free hits will be awarded for no-balls

Fielding Restrictions

A minimum of 2 fielders must remain on each side of the pitch at all times.

Wide Ball Determination

• For right-handed batters, the leg side relative to their stance will always be treated as wide.
• For left-handed batters, the opposite applies.
• A fixed crease mark on the off side determines the wide-ball limit. Any ball passing beyond this mark on the off side will be called a wide.

Wide/Illegal Delivery Penalty (Overs 2-5)

In all overs except the first, each wide or illegal delivery will result in one run and an additional delivery.

All Male Players Dismissed

• If all male players are dismissed while female players still have not been dismissed, the remaining female players will be granted an additional opportunity to bat.
• In this case, they will face deliveries from any bowler (male or female) of the opposing team.

No LBW

LBW dismissals do not apply in this tournament.

Match Tie

If a group-stage match ends in a tie or is declared abandoned, each team will be awarded one point. Ties in the semi-finals and final are decided under the Super Over rules below.

Group-stage Rankings

Net Run Rate (NRR) will be used to rank teams during the group stage when two or more teams have equal points.

NRR = (total runs scored / total overs faced) - (total runs conceded / total overs bowled).

Rain and Interruptions

If a match is interrupted by rain or other unavoidable circumstances, the number of overs may be reduced.

If the interruption occurs during the second innings, the DLS method will be applied after at least 2 overs have been bowled to calculate the revised target and par score.

Time Wasting

Any attempt at deliberately wasting time, as judged by the umpire, will result in a one-point penalty.

Extended Overs

Matches in the semi-finals and final will consist of five overs, with each over comprising six deliveries (instead of four).

Super Over

If both teams finish with the same score in the semi-finals or final, the winner will be decided by a Super Over consisting of six deliveries. If the Super Over also results in a tie, the winner will be determined by a coin toss.

ICC Rules

All ICC rules will apply, provided they do not conflict with the tournament's special rules.

Team Finalization

• Team compositions must be finalized before the start of the tournament.
• No player changes will be permitted afterward.

Match Fixtures

Match fixtures will be generated online prior to the games, with team captains present to ensure transparency.

Rule Amendments

The tournament committee retains the right to amend any rules before the commencement of league, semi-final, or final rounds.

The match structure will be adjusted according to the situation.
